New Online Shop for bags and accessories made from recycled firehose.

Since July of 2011, eco-friendly Feuerwear® bags and accessories made from recycled fire hose can be purchased at new Onlineshop www.feuerwear.com.

Together with the online agency mellowmessage, Feuerwear® developed an individual solution for e-commerce based on the Magento shop-system: ''This step was essential, because until now no shop-system was appropriately suited for our unique products. Because of our materials' previous service in fighting fires, each fire hose we use has individual traces of its former duty, and every finished product is one-of-a-kind,'' explains Feuerwear® founder Martin Klüsener.

Feuerwear®'s ordering system is secure and accurate, so that none of our unique products can be ordered by two separate customers on accident. Immediately after an order is placed, the product is reserved and then automatically removed from available options on the website. Feuerwear® offers an innovative 'Brand-new Alert' service if a desired color or particular lettering is not available on any bags currently offered in the online shop. The service alerts those interested via e-mail whenever there are new products available in the online shop.

Additional features in the new Feuerwear® website add to a pleasant shopping experience. For example, customers can now search for a desired product by filtering available products by specific color.

Feuerwear® makes bags and accessoires from recycled firehose. Every Feuerwear® product is a unique piece with its own individual story. Before their reincarnation as a bag, belt or wallet, they helped firefighters to save lives for many years. They were dragged through soot, grease and mud, in extreme heat and fire, and had to transport thousands of cubic meters of water.
